Welcome to Our Study Blog

Have you ever studied a passage or listened to a sermon that just really spoke to your heart?

You knew it would make a difference in your life. It was something you would remember … it would help you thrive! Yet as you went through the week, somehow all you wanted to remember just seemed to dissipate.

It happens to all of us! Review is a foundational principle of remembering and learning. This blog was started to help Crossroads members with do just that. The Sunday message is broken down to into smaller chunks for review and meditation during the week.

Missed the sermon or don’t attend Crossroads? Not a problem. I invite you to join us as we run to the heart of God together – to dig deeper into His Word –  to learn from Him!

As believers, God made us alive spiritually to thrive … to have abundant life!

“… if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new” (Corinthians 5:17). Jesus said “I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly” (John 10:9b).

Thrive” means to grow and develop well or vigorously. We grow spiritually as our minds are renewed. Romans 12:2 tells us, “not to be conformed to this world, but to be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.” Minds are renewed as thinking changes. For the believer, we are transformed as we renew our minds by spending time learning God’s Word.

Alive to Thrive” is written to provide insight along with opportunities to dig deeper into Scripture and reflect on how God wants you to apply His principles to your everyday life.
